Main Function:

  • Provides knowledge, measurement, reporting and perspective for all individual projects related to the Cornerstone Learning Management System (LMS), the Thompson Way culture, Associate Services, and other projects.
  • Provides technical leadership in the support of Thompson Health's Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining an LMS that will meet regulatory compliance needs and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Plans and coordinates activities in support of the Thompson Health culture (The Thompson Way).
  • Coordinates activities and functions as coordinator for the Associate Quality Council (AQC), the Executive Vision Council (EVC) and the Socialization Action Council (SAC) and their respective functions consistent with Thompson Health's strategic plan and CARES values.
  • Responsible for furthering our environment built on Associate recognition and empowerment.

Key Responsibilities:

Thompson Way Coordinator: 20%

  • Serves as the CARESCount program administrator.
  • Coordinates and tracks all Thompson Way activity (Cheers for Peers, RANSACs, Star Catchers, JDIs, and DIGs).
  • Prepares agendas, attends meetings, and takes/distributes minutes for EVC, AQC, and SAC meetings & facilitates meetings as needed.
  • Plans, coordinates, and organizes SAC and AQC events, including Health System Month activities.
  • Prepares Thompson Way scorecard reports.
  • Communicates/publicizes events to all Associates.

LMS Administrator: 60%

  • Manages LMS functions which include monitoring course content, approvals, and evaluation processes, ensuring processes are completed within given timeframes.
  • Manages workflow with minimal oversight in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and changing priorities.
  • Prioritizes, manages and completes multiple projects with tight deadlines using project management methodology.
  • Collaborates with subject matter experts (SME), stakeholders, and managers.
  • Creates/publishes/archives online and instructor-led courses, assigns training curricula, adds/deletes resources, monitors accounts, and maintains system parameters.
  • Analyzes, identifies, and communicates LMS system and business requirements to vendor.
  • Maintains data integrity rules and processes for the LMS, such as course descriptions, course or class changes, and instructors.
  • Investigates and resolves any data or system inconsistencies or discrepancies.
  • Develops tracking mechanisms to identify employee training requirements.
  • Creates and updates training requirements in the LMS.
  • Leads the establishment, documentation and enforcement of registration, scheduling, and cancellation policies and procedures.
  • Maintains LMS course materials and provides support to SMEs.
  • Provides training and technical support to users, supervisors, administrators, and others who interact with the LMS.
  • Generates, analyzes, and distributes reports.

Associate Services/General: 20%

  • Maintains the Associate Services Intranet site.
  • Tracks aggregate quality indicators for Associate Services.
  • Analyzes and converts data to information that drives continuous quality improvement and graphically displays performance data and study findings for end users.
  • Prepares various presentations, reports, documents, agendas, minutes, correspondence, etc.
  • Supports other projects (Press Ganey Associate Survey, LGBTQ+/HEI, new software and program implementation, etc.)

  • Significant computer literacy required in Windows with proficiency in learning management systems, word processing, graphics applications, spreadsheets, and database management. Also, media, website (intranet) planning and developing marketing plans to support our culture.
  • Actively guards the confidentiality of sensitive information including but not limited to patients and staff of the health system.
  • Actively supports system goals and imperatives and lives the CARES values at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree required.
  • Five or more years of broad experience in an industry requiring training and compliance required.
  • Extensive knowledge, experience and capability with LMS, Word, and Excel programs, understanding of reporting concepts required.
  • Broad array of computer skills & conceptual knowledge; ability to facilitate group action; project management, and critical thinking skills preferred.

 

Pay Range: $22.00 - $28.00
