Schedule: Full time - Days, evening, night, weekend availability
Job Objective:
- To prepare food for service according to menu plans and standardized recipes in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates the ability to work in a kitchen where large quantities of food are prepared.
- Exhibits a caring and patient behavior towards residents.
- Monitors inventory control and supplies.
- Demonstrates the ability to use kitchen equipment.
- Demonstrates the ability to use general cleaning equipment and materials.
- Possess the ability to function as a team member
- Prepares and portions food items as designated
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write and understand English language.
- Possess simple mathematical calculations; add, subtract, multiply and divide.
- Excellent team work skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Familiar with Health Department Regulations.
- Previous experience working with the senior population preferred
- Strong background in food production and line serving
Pay Range: $17.00 - $20.00
Starting Pay: Based on Experience
