Director of Nursing Position Summary
The Director of the Nursing Home is responsible and accountable for patient care management, resource and fiscal management, and resolution of personnel issues within the assigned division.
The Director of the Nursing Home recommends and supports goals and objectives that are consistent with the mission statement. This position delivers exceptional quality and service to all patients and other customers. Through a constant pursuit of excellence and respect for every individual, fosters an environment of participation, teamwork and professional growth.
Director of Nursing Position Requirements
Education:
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing with a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing is required.
- Master's degree in Nursing is or related field is preferred.
Licensure:
- Licensed and current registration as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland or Delaware, as applicable.
Experience:
- A minimum of five(5) years in appropriate field with at least two (2)years of management experience.
- Leadership experience, human resources management, statistics and research methodologies, educational methodologies, and staffing is required.
- Experience with caring for elderly patients and post acute care requirements is required.
Director of Nursing Benefits
- At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
