POSITION SUMMARY:
POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Analyze, forecast, and interpret economic, demographic, and market data to support investment thesis development.
Clean, organize, and model large datasets to inform strategic decisions.
Conduct quantitative research using econometric and statistical tools (e.g., time series analysis, regression modeling).
Produce investment and market research reports that inform pipeline prioritization, underwriting assumptions, and capital deployment strategies.
Support senior investment professionals with pre-acquisition research, including rent comp studies, supply-demand mapping, and macroeconomic trend tracking.
Collaborate across teams to translate research insights into actionable underwriting and investment strategies.
Over time, participate in transaction underwriting, diligence, and closing processes as the role transitions into acquisitions.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Data Science, Real Estate, or a related field.
Strong coursework or experience in econometrics, time series analysis, regression modeling, and/or financial forecasting.
Highly analytical and intellectually curious; capable of deriving insights from incomplete data sets.
Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; exposure to ARGUS is a plus.
Experience with R or Python for data analysis is required; familiarity with machine learning frameworks is a plus.
Displays a positive, can-do attitude and professional manner, exhibiting respectfulness and behavior consistent with the company's core values. Works well in a company with a culture emphasizing a collegial, team-oriented environment.
Has the ability to interact and communicate effectively up, down, and across the organization, strong oral and written communication skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects in varying stages.
