The Talent Acquisition Corporate Specialist will play a key role in streamlining and optimizing the recruitment process. This position will assist with full cycle recruitment for Corporate Services positions including sourcing, attracting, interviewing, and assisting with the selection of top talent in collaboration with departmental leadership and business partners. This role will be responsible for overseeing and managing relationships and contracts with external recruiting agencies. The Talent Acquisition Corporate Specialist be a brand ambassador for the company and will be responsible for fostering a best-in-class experience for candidates and employees throughout the recruitment process.

POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Foster and maintain relationships with hiring managers in Corporate Services to identify recruitment needs, job duties, qualifications, and skills to develop recruitment strategies.

  • Build and preserve a robust talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs within Corporate Services.

  • Conduct thorough candidate screenings for Corporate Services positions to assess qualifications, skills, and cultural fit, as requested.

  • Communicate with candidates regarding interviews, feedback, and next steps, addressing any candidate inquiries with timely and professional responses.

  • Organize welcome emails, office tours, introductions, and quarterly lunches with leadership teams for all newly hired employees within the Houston Corporate Office.

  • Develop an understanding of differences between various roles within the Corporate Service functions across the organization.

  • Manage usage of all Corporate Service position profiles, ensuring the available profile drafts are maintained and used uniformly used across the organization.

  • Provide complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about the company and position, reinforcing the values and culture.

  • Create a comprehensive recruitment protocol for executive-level positions.

  • Maintain a centralized offer letter to be used across Transwestern's platform of companies.

  • Review current position profile templates and recommend enhancements that can be used across the organization.

  • Maintain and utilize various recruitment channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks, to identify and attract potential candidates, acting as the point of contact for these channels.

  • Assist with managing and growing our company brand and recruiting presence across social media channels.

  • Stay knowledgeable about recruiting best practices, industry trends, employment law, and compliance factors, implementing that knowledge through the end-to-end recruiting process.

  • Create a standardized interview scorecard for hiring managers, emphasizing candidates' interpersonal and emotional intelligence skillsets.

  • Integrate job-specific skills tests into the recruitment process for core business positions.

  • Provide support and training to hiring managers on the use of new and available recruitment processes, systems, and tools.

  • Partner with the HR Team to create best practices for recruiting, using recruitment data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

  • Maintain data integrity within the company's Applicant Tracking System (Workday).

  • Manage and track relationships with all external recruiting agencies currently used; Enhance regional preferred agency listings, and direct hiring managers to work with the approved agencies.

  • In partnership with legal, negotiate terms and conditions of new and existing contracts and master service agreements with external agencies, ensuring the contracts comply with company policies and legal requirements.

  • Monitor contract performance, and manage renewals or terminations as needed.

  • Develop and implement best practices for managing agency relationships and contracts.

  • Create monthly agency reports to track recruiting metrics.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Due to the core functions of this role, a consistent, in-office presence for this role must be sustained.

  • A bachelor's degree with emphasis in human resources or related field.

  • 7 - 10 years of experience working in recruitment operations, talent acquisition, or a similar field.

  • Recruitment experience in commercial real estate, hospitality or investment services is highly preferred.

  • Experience with Workday Recruiting and/or ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems).

  • Strong negotiation skills and experience with contract management.

  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiting, Glassdoor, and/or Indeed is a plus.

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Familiarity with relevant employment laws.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrate strong analytical capabilities with a high attention to detail.

  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to work in fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

  • Ability to work in a team, collaborative environment.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Demonstrate strong analytical capabilities with a high attention to detail.

  • Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to internal and external customers.
