Job Title: ServiceNow Administrator (Experienced Consultant)
Location: Remote
Job Type: Full-Time Consultant for 10-12 Weeks
Department: IT / Enterprise Applications

 

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Administrator to join our IT team and play a key role in the ongoing support, configuration, and enhancement of our ServiceNow platform. This individual will work closely with stakeholders across departments to optimize workflows, automate business processes, and ensure that the platform is aligned with organizational goals.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and configure ServiceNow modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Service Catalog, Knowledge, and Asset Management.
  • Develop and maintain custom workflows, business rules, UI policies, and client/server scripts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement scalable solutions within the ServiceNow ecosystem.
  • Manage data imports/exports, integrations with third-party systems, and scheduled jobs.
  • Maintain and enhance the CMDB and ensure its accuracy through discovery and integrations.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
  • Participate in upgrade and patch management, testing, and deployment planning.
  • Maintain platform security, user roles, access controls, and permissions in alignment with organizational policy.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and user guides.
 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Administrator in a mid-to-large enterprise environment.
  • Solid understanding of ITIL principles and how they apply within ServiceNow.
  • Good understanding of JavaScript, HTML, XML, and REST/SOAP integrations.
  • Proven ability to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver results.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is required; additional certifications (e.g., ITSM, Discovery, CMDB) preferred.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
