What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education
- Active Tennessee teaching certification/license with ESL endorsement
- Spanish-speaking required
- Open to varying levels of experience
- Flexible, collaborative, and comfortable with co-teaching and shifting assignments
What You'll Do:
- Plan and deliver individual and group ESL instruction tailored to student needs
- Provide rigorous instruction aligned with Tennessee standards to accelerate English language acquisition
- Maintain accurate student records in accordance with district and state requirements
- Administer ELPA21 assessments and assist with TCAP testing as needed
- Attend IEP and 504 meetings for qualifying students alongside special education staff
- Serve as a liaison between families and schools regarding cultural and language-related matters
- Monitor student progress and advocate for participation in school programs and activities
- Participate in staff development opportunities to strengthen instructional practices
