Physician Assistant - Neurohospitalist

Lakewood Ranch/Bradenton, FL

Manatee Memorial Hospital and Lakewood Ranch Medical Center are seeking a highly skilled Neurohospitalist Advanced Practitioner (PA) to provide exceptional inpatient services at both hospitals in Manatee County. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, treating a wide spectrum of neurological disorders and providing consultative neurology services to inpatients. The schedule for this position is 7 on/7 off.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient Neurohospitalist services, including consultative neurology care.
• Treat a wide range of neurological disorders with a focus on acute stroke care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including clinical nurse specialists, stroke coordinators, and dedicated care management professionals.
• Comprehensive onsite neurosurgery services to support patient care needs.

Qualifications:

• Licensed as a Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of Florida.
• Previous experience in Neurology or as an APP Neurohospitalist strongly preferred.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong commitment to providing excellent patient care.
