Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree; one year administration experience; or any equivalent combination of relevant education, training & experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- Preferred experience is at least one (1) year in higher education development.
- Experience in a university, education, or non-profit environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills as a team player; an active listener; at ease with a wide range of donors, University constituents, and backgrounds.
- Desire to work in a service-oriented environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Raiser's Edge or a similar constituent database.
- Flexible working evenings and weekends, as needed, in support of donor events in the DFW area.
- Proven abilities to handle discreet and confidential information.
- Proven abilities in organizational, problem-solving, and oral and written communication skills; strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills essential.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team player.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide event support to the Director of Development and Assistant Director of Development which may include registration, venue setup, collateral design, nametags, and check-in.
- Assist with tracking constituent stewardship and event details in Raiser's Edge.
- Assist with donor data integrity.
- Assist the Director of Development and Assistant Director of Development with scheduling and coordinating logistics surrounding major donor meetings, dinners, and other campaign and stewardship events and engagements as needed
- Assist with budget tracking, invoice payments, and reimbursements
- Assist with special projects at the direction of the Director of Development and the Assistant Director of Development
- Collaborate with other staff in the Office of Development and Alumni Relations to support the activities of the Campaign and Donor Engagement Team.

Remote Work Notice:
Hybrid remote work environment available and a UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement is required upon employment. Use of personal computer and other standard office equipment may be required. Must be located within the DFW Area and have the ability to be on campus with 24 hours of notice.
