Description
Reporting to the senior director of development communications, the marketing coordinator will provide support across the communications team, working to ensure timely completion of projects and advance overall efforts and initiatives. Use organizational skills to work on multiple projects simultaneously with accuracy and speed, exercising judgment to prioritize assignments when multiple deadlines approach.
Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree with marketing, communications, business or other applicable areas of study. Three to five years of experience in a marketing, communications or public relations area.
Preferred Education and Experience
Experience writing, editing and project management. Proven ability to contribute to communications efforts, think creatively and organize tasks. Knowledge of AP Style. Comfortable collaborating in a team environment, but also able to work independently. Experience in higher education or agency environment preferred.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Project Management: Manage and organize multiple ongoing communication projects and initiatives, ensuring efforts stay on track and meet deadlines. Oversee and respond to incoming project requests. Coordinate advertising deadlines and content.
- Communication: Leverage strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate tasks and collaborate with team members and vendors, ensuring seamless execution of projects.
- Collaboration: Build strong relationships across the department and University to drive projects and provide results.
- Content Creation: Develop content (digital and print) for marketing and event collateral.
- Administrative Duties: Provide administrative support related to purchasing, printing and external vendors. Maintain and oversee inventory of communications equipment.
- Analytics: Track and measure the success of marketing campaigns and communications, using data to recommend changes to improve results and impact.

Remote Work Notice:
Hybrid remote work environment available and a UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement is required upon employment. Use of personal computer and other standard office equipment may be required. Must be located within the DFW Area and have the ability to be on campus with 24 hours of notice.
