Position Description   The Jindal School of Management at The University of Texas at Dallas is seeking to fill an open-rank non-tenure track faculty position. Appointment will be at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of Practice, depending on the qualifications of the candidate. 

This faculty position will focus on teaching professional development and first-year learning courses for undergraduate students.We are seeking an instructor dedicated to fostering professional growth and skill development in students. The ideal candidate will design and deliver engaging coursework that equips learners with the practical tools, knowledge, and mindset needed for career readiness. This role requires staying current with industry trends, integrating real-world applications into instruction, and inspiring continuous learning and leadership development among diverse student populations. 

The position is housed in the Undergraduate Dean's area and will report to the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs. 

The appointment commences for the fall 2025 semester.   Qualifications   Minimum Education and Experience: A relevant master's degree (in Business or related field) and a minimum of 5 years' appropriate industry experience. The position will require administrative and service activities within the school. Candidates are expected to demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative, engaging, and dynamic environment comprised of individuals with a range of backgrounds, skills, and perspectives. We are seeking candidates able to deliver high quality teaching using evidence-based practices to effectively engage students from a range of backgrounds and experiences.   Preferred Education and Experience: Applicants must warrant the appointment at a faculty rank consistent with their qualifications and accomplishments A demonstrated record in professional development skills is preferred.   The Naveen Jindal School of Management:    The Dallas Metroplex has a population of over 7 million people and is the home of twenty-two Fortune 500 corporate headquarters, including such well-known firms as AT&T, American Airlines, Toyota North America, PepsiCo and Texas Instruments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence;
Prepare and teach undergraduate and/or graduate classes;
Contribute assessment information and data as requested;
Mentor and/or advise undergraduate and/or graduate students;
Engage in service within the academic unit, the university, and the profession as appropriate based on teaching and research constraints;
Teach eight (8) classes each academic year.
