Description

The primary responsibility of this position is to support and manage activities related to the recruitment, onboarding, and orientation of incoming new students for the Jindal School of Management (JSOM) Undergraduate Programs Office. This role requires providing exceptional customer service to students while effectively coordinating with faculty and academic program directors. 

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with strong interpersonal and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Minimum Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, with a minimum of four years of experience in program/project development or an equivalent combination of education and experience.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This position supports the Director in planning and executing all activities related to freshman and transfer student recruitment for JSOM. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following areas:

(50%)
Plan and manage prospective student visits, open house events, high school and community college outreach, presentations, communication campaigns, and orientation sessions. Provide guidance to transfer students by creating transfer plans, assisting with course registration, and supporting course selection. Manage incoming communications from prospective students, parents, and other educational stakeholders to ensure timely and effective responses. Serve as a liaison between this office and academic advising, program directors, and the Undergraduate Dean's Office. (30%)
Oversee the Student Ambassador Program, including recruitment, training, professional development, meeting coordination, and other staffing responsibilities. Collaborate with other JSOM departments to coordinate ambassador engagement and deliver exceptional customer service to prospective and current students, alumni, and guests. (20%)
Perform additional duties as assigned within the Undergraduate Programs Office. Participate in all required events while professionally representing the department and the School of Management.

Remote Work Notice
A hybrid remote work schedule may be available (currently 1-day remote weekly). Employee must be located within the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex area and have the ability to be on campus for work activities as scheduled and/or with 24-hour notice. Completion and approval of a UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required upon employment, and use of personal computer, internet, and other standard equipment may be required. Remote work arrangements are subject to regular review and re-approval and may be canceled at any time.
