Description
A position is available for a postdoctoral researcher in theoretical quantum information science in the lab of Bei Zeng in the Departments of Physics at the University of Texas at Dallas. We are seeking a creative, independent, and highly motivated individual to join our team, focusing on research in quantum information theory, the application of neural networks to study quantum systems, and quantum tomography.
Minimum Education and Experience
Ph.D in a related field.
Preferred Education and Experience
Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Physics or in a related field and have a robust background in quantum information science or quantum foundations. Expertise in quantum correlations, quantum tomography, and machine learning is highly desirable.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Theoretical studies, methods/algorithms development, computational simulations, mentoring of junior group members.
