Description

Bachelor's degree in related field is required. Three years of progressively responsible experience in project management/construction, related experience in a public school system highly desirable. Knowledge of: - Construction project design review and evaluation; construction mobilization and supervision; bid evaluation; cost-benefit analysis; project scheduling; claims review and negotiations; general management and administration of a construction project. -Construction means, methods, safety standards and job-site management. - Applicable building codes, safety standards, environmental protection regulations and accessibility standards. -Sustainable design and construction. -Public Contract Code (PCC), Office of Public School Construction OPSC), Division of the State Architect (DSA), and the California Occupational safety and Health Act (Cal/OSHA) policies and procedures; other applicable codes, ordinances and regulations.
