Position Summary:
We are seeking a Diesel A/C Technician to perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy-duty diesel and alternative fuel vehicles, including A/C systems. This role combines hands-on mechanical work with teamwork and problem-solving to keep our fleet running at peak performance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain air conditioning systems on diesel trucks and heavy-duty equipment
  • Assist drivers with daily pre/post-trip inspections and vehicle safety checks
  • Perform preventative maintenance (PM) services on diesel, gasoline, and CNG systems
  • Complete lubrication and repair tasks on trucks as scheduled
  • Assist in brake inspections, documenting findings daily
  • Support A & B technicians with engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical, hydraulic, and body repairs
  • Maintain accurate repair records, parts usage, and time tracking in the system
  • Keep the shop and work area clean, organized, and safe per OSHA standards
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and corporate ethics standards

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with diesel A/C systems and general heavy-duty truck maintenance
  • Knowledge of lubrication, brake inspection, and fluid top-up procedures
  • Ability to assist in repairs for lights, wipers, mirrors, and other vehicle components
  • Strong understanding of tools and equipment required for truck repair and maintenance
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
