Waste Pro is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician A to join our maintenance team in West Palm Beach. As a Tech A, you will perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance across a wide range of fleet vehicles:

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and structural systems
• Perform engine, transmission, drivetrain, brake, and suspension diagnostics and repairs
• Service and maintain Mack, International, Autocar, Heil, McNeilus, and other refuse equipment
• Use electronic diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot system failures
• Complete repairs using factory service manuals and established procedures
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure full compliance with OSHA and company standards
• Maintain accurate and timely repair documentation and work records
• Support, guide, and collaborate with other technicians to ensure efficient shop operations
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Demonstrate strong ethics, reliability, and professional standards

• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with medium- and heavy-duty trucks (Class 8 preferred)
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills across:
  • Engines
  • Transmissions
  • Drivetrain systems
  • Electrical and hydraulic systems
• Experience with refuse or vocational trucks preferred
• Ability to assess structural damage and determine repair needs
• Proficiency using diagnostic tools and maintenance software (e.g., fleet systems, Microsoft Office)
• Ability to mentor and support junior technicians
• Strong understanding of OSHA and fleet safety standards
• CDL Class B preferred (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to earn 7 ASE certifications within 36 months (or equivalent experience)
