Description

Summary- Sells waste collection services to assigned major commercial and industrial new business opportunities.  Develops and maintains relationships with current assigned major client accounts focusing on customer satisfaction, quality of revenue and selling within customer base.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Sell waste collection services to target prospect assigned major commercial and industrial business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with major customer accounts through periodic personal follow-up, proactive customer service, prompt attention and resolution to concerns or issues and timely contract updates. Manages on average 20-40 major customer accounts.
  • Administer and preserve all price initiatives.
  • Increase revenue potential through selling additional services.
  • Retain existing major accounts through personal contact, proactive customer surveys and contract updates. Handle customer cancellation requests with priority and personal flow up.
  • Input and maintain Salesforce database on major customers throughout region and other sales data information within Tower.

The following list of duties may be modified based on location requirements.

  • Conduct effective sales presentations to by emphasizing saleable features.
  • Utilize negotiation skills to close the sale and secure the contract.
  • Prepare sales contacts and renewals with price quotes, credit terms and services.
  • Manage major customer contracts, correspondence, pricing administration, etc.
  • Complete major account status reporting requirements accurately and timely
  • Achieve budget new sales, price increase, and major customer sales and retention goals.
  • Follow up on commitments with customers to ensure 100% satisfaction.
  • Execute the sales and overall goals of the Division as directed by management.
  • Attend major industry trade shows as other associations throughout region i.e. BOMA, Orlando Economic Partnership, Apartment Association, CHFLA, and Chamber of Commerce as required.
