You will obtain, record, and communicate important clinical information, and provide clinical services within a multidisciplinary team environment. Offers will not exceed this range, the majority of candidates are placed near the midpoint based on experience and qualifications. Job Duties & Functions: <ul> <li>Provide psychological problem identification, crisis interventions, and similar services to assigned patients.</li> <li>Provide limited case management services to people we serve as needed.</li> <li>Assist consumers with psychological and social development and rehabilitation.</li> <li>Coordinate consumer's use of other WellPower programs and outside community resources.</li> <li>Coordinate medical care and intervention with other clinical staff and psychiatrist(s).</li> <li>Draw blood for lab work for patients.</li> <li>Monitor consumer's vital signs.</li> <li>Periodically provide community injections</li> <li>Administer medications including intramuscular medications.</li> <li>Maintain accurate and timely clinical records consistent with WellPower standards.</li> <li>Participate in team/organization meetings, in-services, and supervisory sessions as required.</li> <li>Maintain a trauma informed environment of wellbeing.</li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> Requirements & Qualifications: <ul> <li>Psychiatric Nurse I: <ul> <li>Graduation from accredited school of nursing. Licensed as a Practical Nurse in good standing with the Board of Nursing of the State of Colorado.</li> <li>Experience: 1-3 years of experience working with patients with a serious and persistent mental illness (preferred).</li> </ul> </li> <li>Psychiatric Nurse II: <ul> <li>Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado. License must be in good standing.</li> <li>Experience: Minimum two years nursing experience; experience in a behavioral health or outpatient clinic (preferred). </li> </ul> </li> </ul> Location: 4353 E Colfax Ave Work Location: This is a on-site position at 4353 E Colfax Ave, Denver, CO. Shift/Hours: WellPower's Crisis Services is wanting a Nurse who is looking for a full-time Nightshift position and would like some flexibility around their schedule. This position provides a unique opportunity to work full-time between two crisis programs, the Denver Walk-In Crisis Center and the Behavioral Health Solutions Center. In this position, the employee has first-priority in selecting three open shifts per week between the two sites. Physical Requirements: Standing, walking, stooping, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, repetitive hand/finger motions, manual dexterity. Requires fine motor skills required for precise clinical procedures. Requires visual and auditory acuity to observe patient behavior and respond to alarms and calls. Requires a capacity to handle emotionally charged situations and maintain professional boundaries. Requires critical thinking and problem-solving skills for diagnosis and treatment planning, and to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to changing patient needs.
