Job Overview:
In addition to performing routine Front Desk tasks (check-in & checkout), hotel Night Auditors perform a vital role on 3rd shift in closing the business day in the property management system and rolling the date to keep the system current.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Projects a positive image
- Greets all guests
- Initiates the Night Audit process of closing the financial day and rolling the date in the PMS
- Generates reports for various team members as directed
- Processes no-show reservations
- Performs hotel check-in and checkout transactions
- Enrolls guests in player's club, generate cards upon demand
- Disseminates information to guests regarding the property, hotel, promotions, etc.
- Performs miscellaneous tasks – cash handling, check authorizations, faxing , copying
- Maintains cash drawer, drops cash as required, submits supporting documentation
- Answers telephones, routing calls as necessary
- Actively resolves guest issues and disputes
- Reports guestroom issues to Maintenance
- Re-stocks Front Desk supplies
- Keeps work area clean and orderly
- Other duties & responsibilities as assigned
Job Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)
- Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older
- High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within six (6) months from start date as a condition of continued employment
- Must be able to type 20 words per minute (typing test will be administered) - required
- Good writing and verbal communication skills required (skills test will be administered)- required
- Experience in customer service- required
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
- Must be willing and able to work 3rd shift
- Must successfully pass job interview, including a guest service audition
- Must be able to stand and walk for entire shift
- Must be able to work effectively in a fast paced, high volume environment
- Must be able to operate standard office equipment – phones, computers, etc.
- Willing to work odd and irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
- Must have an Occupational License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) pursuant to the Illinois Gaming Act and remain in good standing with the Illinois Gaming Board as a requirement for this position
