Job Overview: 9pm-5:30am (Shift subject to change based on business needs)

The VIP Representative assists in executing property promotions and direct mail offers to maximize the profits of the gaming facility, giving correct change, accurately counting and recording assigned funds, verifying and documenting personal information for all transactions and assisting VIP players with requests. VIP Representatives perform high volume cash and non-cash transactions with guests in a courteous, accurate, and timely manner; Computes all monetary transactions, maintains accurate transactions and auditable balancing practices.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides outstanding guest and associate service in a confidential manner while performing assigned duties, including interpreting and conveying property information to all guests
  • Provides guest information as to the use and benefits of the Wind Creek Rewards cards; Answers questions pertaining to points, promotions, complimentaries, and special events
  • Assists in the execution of promotions/direct mail offers by redeeming prizes and issuing vouchers through our player tracking system, CMP
  • Services all guests with the utmost hospitality by effectively demonstrating Wind Creek Hospitality's GETT initiative
  • Assists VIP guests and improves guest experience through the issuance of discretionary complimentaries, makes dining and hotel reservations, and any other VIP Guest requests
  • Avoids receiving procedural violations (exceptions), determined by the Wind Creek Compliance department
  • Accurately handles large monetary transactions and machinery affiliated with the process
  • Acquires beginning cash bank, makes change for customers, cashes out vouchers, and balances operating cash
  • Maintains strict adherence to the department policies and procedures, maintains Title 31 certification and has a strong knowledge of Title 31 requirements
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements: (please ensure you meet the listed requirements prior to applying)

  • High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within six (6) months from start date as a condition of continued employment
  • Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older
  • One (1) year working in a Casino environment (Player Services, Hotel Front Office, or Casino Marketing)– required
    • OR Six (6) months working at any Wind Creek Hospitality Property (Player Services, Hotel Front Office, or Casino Marketing)- required
  • Six (6) months of high-volume cash handling experience- required
  • Must successfully pass job interview, including a guest service audition and obtain the “Gold Pass”– required
  • Working knowledge of Opera, CMP, or comparable programs– preferred
  • Two (2) years Casino Marketing or VIP Services experience– preferred
  • Minimum of $25,000 cash handling experience- preferred
  • Knowledge on the operation of currency counter- preferred
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Must be able to be professional and articulate in presenting all promotional material to guests
  • Must be mature, possess the ability to maintain confidentiality, assume responsibility, and have excellent guest service skills
  • Understand the goals and objectives of the gaming facility
  • Successfully pass a timed math skills test and Title 31 test
  • Must maintain professional appearance and adhere to established dress code at all times
  • Must be willing and able to work all shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays, & overtime as required
  • Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull and maneuver a minimum of fifty (50) pounds
  • Must be able to walk or stand for 100% of assigned shift
  • Must be able to work within a noise filled and smoke/secondary smoke environment
  • Must have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position
