The Highlights: Responsible for the regular reporting of institutional data. Support the reporting of university data to the Department of Education via the National Student Clearinghouse. Managing, analyzing and validating data related to student enrollment, degree completion, and academic program information. Assist with analyzing, designing, and implementing Salesforce solutions that enhance student engagement, streamline operations, and improve data management. Generate regular and ad-hoc reports and metrics. 
 

What You'll Do:

  • The System's Analyst will support the reporting of university data to the Department of Education via the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC). Managing, analyzing and validating data related to student enrollment, degree completion, and academic program information for all DePaul students. Utilizing the NSC as the means of delivery, the filings multiple times per term. The data must have absolute accuracy for each of the 21,000 students and 30+ data elements per student. The filings must be submitted timely and in proper sequence to ensure that data reaches the DOE before the deadline to report any student status changes.  
  • Assist with analyzing, designing, and implementing Salesforce solutions that enhance student engagement, streamline operations, and improve data management. Manage and configure Salesforce applications, ensuring they meet the needs of users across the institution. Provide support and training for faculty and staff on Salesforce features and best practices, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making.
    Support projects related to Salesforce implementations and upgrades, ensuring timely completion and alignment with institutional goals. 
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on student enrollment, academic records and completion metrics. Analyze data trends to provide actionable insights for institutional stakeholders. Create visual representations of data for presentations and reports. Ensuring data accuracy, generating insightful reports, and assisting in the development of data-driven strategies to enhance services. Collect, clean, and validate data. Ensure data integrity and accuracy. Ensure compliance with federal regulations regarding student data privacy and reporting.
What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred.  
  • Minimum of 5 years of student information systems experience or other complex ERP system is required. 
  • Familiarity with educational data systems and reporting practices. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.  
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.  
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.  
  • Understanding of federal education regulations.
     
  The anticipated hiring range for this position is: $64,662.00 to $85,000.00 annually.  The salary range provided in this posting reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual compensation offered or earned is dependent on experience, education and other factors including departmental budget.
