At Kelly® Professional & Industrial, we're seeking CNC Machinists to work for an actively growing Aerospace Manufacturer, in Clifton Springs, NY. With us, it's all about finding the right opportunity for you!
Pay: $20-30/hr. (Depending on shift and experience). Temp to hire.
Available Shifts:
- 1st Shift: 6:00am – 2:30pm/3:30pm
- 2nd Shift: 2:30pm – 1:00am (2:30pm – 11:00pm for training)
- 3rd Shift: 10:00pm – 6:00am (Training on 1st or 2nd Shift)
- Shift Differential: 2nd Shift – 15%, 3rd Shift – 20%
What does a typical day look like for this position? You'll be...
- Performing set-up, dimensional inspection, and production operating tasks for a variety of equipment, including live-tool lathes, Swiss lathes, grinders, EDMs, mills, and machining centers.
- Setting up CNC equipment, including prove-outs of new processes and all adjustments required.
- Conducting full dimensional inspections, including lengths, diameters, radii, finishes, and all positional and geometric requirements, both for First Article preparation and in-process inspection.
- Troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance on equipment.
- Collaborating with teammates to ensure the team meets shared objectives.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you…
- Have a High School Diploma or GED - Required.
- Possess 1-2 years of related experience - Preferred.
- Possess strong blueprint reading and comprehension abilities.
- Understand GD&T per ASME Y14.5 - A significant plus.
- Are skilled in inspection and gaging techniques, including micrometers, bore/height gages, profilometers, etc.
