We are searching for a motivated Quality Engineer 2 with regulated industry experience and a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude to help position our company for new growth and improved social responsibility. Project management skills are a real plus!

Your Role: You will join the Quality Engineering team, supporting structures R&D and manufacturing.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and oversee the inspection and testing of products to verify conformance with specifications and deliverables
  • Assist operations team in tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels for CSR (corporate social responsibility), environmental, and health/safety goals/KPIs
  • Investigate reported product quality issues and ensure timely closure per company and regulatory guidelines
  • Develop and update company inspection procedures to ensure thorough documentation and investigation
  • Monitor risk-management procedures and report recurring issues to management and product development teams
  • Provide training and support to quality assurance team members on systems, policies, and procedures
  • Lead and actively participate in internal and external audits
  • Commit to ongoing self-development and personal growth
  • Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical field
  • Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in aerospace or other highly regulated industry highly preferred
  • Experience with NADCAP and heat treatment is a plus
  • Deep knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
  • Demonstrated knowledge of testing best practices, version-control, and defect management
  • Professional certification such as Six Sigma, CQE (Certified Quality Engineer), or CQA (Certified Quality Auditor) preferred

  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Windows environment)
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a complex business environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Strong focus on customer service
  • Quick to master new business knowledge and technical skills
