Job Summary Job Responsibilities- Assist Quality Engineer and management in assessing measures of performance through data collection, reporting and analysis
- Evaluate quality data collection systems and processes to determine whether these data collection processes adequately depict the quality of products and processes involving suppliers, manufacturing test and lifecycle management
- Support projects and processes that ensure continuously improving value to our customers and business units
- Create organizational value by implementing innovative solutions and best practices involved in all processes of the product realization value stream
- Assist Quality Engineers with data mining, reporting and analysis
- Observe and identify process improvement opportunities to Quality Engineering
- Verify process control activities and report deficiencies as appropriate
- Initiate quality alerts for potential process and product discrepancies that may affect performance
- Prepare audit plans and checklists for all product lifecycle quality-related activities
- Assist Quality Engineers with root cause analysis investigations and corrective action development
- Investigate internal audit-related findings and help coordinate activities to resolve issues
- Work with quality management and support staff to develop solutions to help manage variability
- Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
- Preferred: Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least 1 year experience with quality purge process
- At least 2 years experience with MES and DMES
- In-depth knowledge of business information systems required
- General knowledge of quality management system required
- Ability to apply basic problem-solving skills
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret written procedures
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
