Job Summary

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer II to support the design, development, and testing of electrical power systems used in naval applications. This role is ideal for a motivated engineer with solid technical fundamentals who is ready to take on increased responsibility in a highly regulated, mission-critical environment. 

What You Will Do
  • Design, analyze, and modify electrical power and control systems for naval applications
  • Develop schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation in accordance with customer requirements and industry standards
  • Support system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and validation activities
  • Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and failure analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineers, manufacturing, quality, and program management
  • Support production, fielding, and sustainment efforts as needed
  • Ensure compliance with applicable standards (MIL-STD, IEEE, UL, NEC, etc.)
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and designs
Education & Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • 3+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience with experience with power systems, power electronics, control systems, or electrical distribution
  • Ability to read and create electrical schematics and technical drawings
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
  • Experience in naval, defense, aerospace, or other regulated industries
  • Familiarity with military standards and specifications
  • Experience with test equipment and system-level testing
  • Working knowledge of CAD tools
  • Prior experience supporting manufacturing or fielded systems

U.S. Citizenship required. This position may require an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
