About Us: The Stepping Stones Group is dedicated to providing comprehensive psychological services to students in schools. We are currently seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our team in Scotts Valley, CA.
Job Overview: As a School Psychologist with The Stepping Stones Group, you will play a crucial role in supporting students' academic and social-emotional development. This part-time position involves conducting psychoeducational assessments, providing individual and group counseling, and collaborating with teachers and parents to foster a positive learning environment. You will also contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide crisis intervention when necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to evaluate students' academic, social, and emotional functioning.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students with social-emotional or behavioral concerns.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' academic and social-emotional development.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop and review individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- State license or certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting.
