About the Role:
We're looking for a Senior System Reliability Engineer who thrives on keeping complex systems fast, stable, and ready for anything. In this role, you'll design and evolve monitoring, alerting, and automation practices that protect system performance at scale. You'll dig into incidents, lead root-cause analysis, and turn lessons learned into smarter, more resilient infrastructure. Collaboration is a big part of the job—you'll work closely with product teams, cloud partners, and leadership while mentoring fellow engineers along the way. What You'll Do:
- Design, implement, and improve practices for software deployments, performance monitoring, system logging, and optimization
- Ensure the stability, reliability, and performance of global, cloud-hosted systems across self-hosted and cloud data centers
- Partner with senior management and cross-functional teams to build and maintain resilient infrastructure support systems
- Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor Level I and II engineers, helping elevate team practices and technical excellence
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer/Information Technology or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Seven plus (7+) years of experience building and maintaining monitoring and observability systems
- Seven plus (7+) years of experience working with Windows or Linux server operating systems
- Seven plus (7+) years of experience working within a hosting environment as a Software Engineer, System Reliability Engineer, or Cloud System Engineer
- Seven plus (7+) years of experience troubleshooting and analyzing software systems
- Four plus (4+) years of experience with Yardi or an enterprise software company
- Two plus (2+) years of experience managing projects
- Two plus (2+) years of experience working with containers and orchestrators such as Docker / Kubernetes
- Two plus (2+) years of experience working with IIS, Tomcat, Apache, or Nginx
- Experience with security and compliance audits
- Experience building and maintaining data ingestion pipelines
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Experience developing and troubleshooting web applications
- Experience designing, creating, and maintaining automation modules in Puppet, Chef or Ansible
- Public speaking experience in the DevOps or monitoring space
- Experience working with MySQL, SQL Server, and Oracle databases
- Working knowledge of multi-tier applications and their dependencies including load balancing, TCP/IP networking, web services, LDAP, and DNS
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain code
- Advanced knowledge of industry standard monitoring and performance analysis techniques
- Excellent knowledge of Windows and Linux performance indicators
- Demonstrated ability to design and use analysis data to detect and predict system degradation
- Ability to quickly apply system performance analysis techniques to locate system degradation points
- Understanding of various networking protocols and topologies
- Understanding of outage and performance event impact on clients and systems
- Knowledge of cause contributor determination
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interdepartmental communication skills
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Experience managing Linux KVM-based virtualization platforms such as Proxmox, OpenStack, or OpenShift.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tooling such as Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or Chef.

Annual Salary Range: $127,200 - $143,100
