Description

The EPS Technology Service Branch requires one (1) self-motivated individual to ensure the provide technical expertise to operate, maintain, support and enhance the telecommunications infrastructure within the Edmonton Police Service.  Roles and responsibilities include:

• Daily operation, support and enhancement of EPS telecommunications infrastructure.
• Maintenance of PBX systems, Centrex, voicemail systems, VoIP , audio and video conferencing equipment, voice recording systems and structured wiring systems.
• Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic testing.
• Support and solutions for equipment malfunctions and unusual situations.
• Configure and integrate Ricoh multi-function devices into the EPS network.
• Manage network settings and perform preventive maintenance.
• Liaise with vendors for procurement, installation, maintenance and support.
• Serve as the escalation point for multi-function device issues.
• Support and solutions for equipment malfunctions and unusual situations.
• Set up and configure A/V equipment in meeting rooms.
• Integrate A/V systems with Microsoft Teams Rooms and other virtual meeting platforms.
• Maintain an inventory of all A/V equipment.
• Perform other related duties as required.
