Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Product Quality Leader located in Shanghai-Jiading.

Reporting to the Product & Supplier Quality Manager, the Product Quality Leader role involves…

What a typical day looks like:

  • Support the business strategy 3 years plan of Flex Power, VPD are the most critical products as power module focused business.
  • New Industrial standard study and align with customer for AI Product.
  • New Quality requirement for new introduced production processes, to enhance product quality.
  • Enhance Power Module Quality control in new AI application.
  • Support P8 (Penang, Malaysia site) quality management and continuously improvement
  • Responsible for the product quality for whole life cycle of assigned family both in JID and Penang flex.
  • Lead yield and claim improvement by using QCC through all product life circle , secure and align quality control level.
  • Responsible for quality control plan, prepare/update/implement quality plan
  • Quality activities on Projects (NPI/TPI/APA/PCR/2nd source) as request, participate Kickoff, PFMEA, and producibility report review.
  • Design Quality Improve feedback and support, Issue and follow up TR for design related problem. Participate TR review (CCB) meeting, support critical TR execution.
  • Handle internal RCA/CA follow up for RMA cases as sub-driver
  • Hold and manager QCC meeting (Meeting/Reporting/Action follow up)
  • Escalation point for quality alarm
  • Be responsible to escalate higher level while observing the corrective actions were not effectively conducted.
  • Support internal audit
  • Other tasks assigned by line manager

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the industrial/electrical engineering.
  • Over 5 years of experience in a similar position in manufacturing joint venture
  • Familiarity with ISO 90001, OHS9001, ISO 14001 and other quality system related knowledge
  • Certified internal auditor, process auditor certificate preferred, familiar with IPC standard
  • Familiar with total quality management, master QC seven techniques, five tools (PPAP, APQP, SPC, MSA, FEMA tools)
  •  Familiar with Problem Solving Methodologies (e.g., 8D, 6 Sigma / Green Belt). Strong analytical ability and a natural structural inclination
  • Comprehensive knowledge of power module products and processes is preferred
  • Ability to develop and implement control plans.
  • Strong capability, drivability in teamwork, Independent self-motivated and well organized with analytical mind
  • Experience in change management (organizational and process)
  • Ability to work effectively across different cultures (customers, suppliers, plants, projects, corporate).
  • Fluent write and oral in English and Mandarin
